There have been many arguments on whether to do lists are bad are good. There are, of course, many people who said it’s good, but you might be surprised, as there are people who also said that it’s not necessary. There are so many types of people in the world, and everyone does their work and things in their own special way. So, let us tell you what our team thinks about to-do lists, and whether it is important to us individually!

Are to-do lists important?

Yes. There are so much to do when you run a startup. Without to-do lists, I might miss out on something important!

How do you do your to-do lists?

Apple note, because its cloud-based and I love anything that can synchronise between my phone and MacBook. I can just record whatever I want, whenever I need to.

How do you make your to-do list more manageable? 

I write down whatever I need to do right away when I think of something, and then I will start doing numberings for them. I will then highlight my to-do lists with two different colours, one colour is my to-dos, and the other is my employee’s to-do. That gives me a clear view of what I have to do in a day.

Yes. Because without them I will lose focus, plus, as I’m growing older I cant remember everything that I need to do in a day!

How do you do your to-do lists?

My to-do list is basically on Freshdesk. When I start my work, I will look at all the tech bugs that I need to fix, and make sure I finish it in a day.

How do you make your to-do list more manageable? 

I don’t really follow my to-do lists by sequence, I basically go with it in the orders that I like. I don’t number them.

Yes, because to do lists are something that makes me remember what I need to do. I’m afraid of forgetting something important.

One Note, which is available on my HP laptop, and also, because it’s cloud-based too!

How do you make your to-do list more manageable? 

I manage my to-do lists by putting them in categories, for example, I have two to-do lists, one is work-related and the other is not! This is how I differentiate it to really know what’s more important and what’s not.

Yes, because there was once where I didn’t record my to-do list, and I forgot too many things. My work was very delayed that week. That was definitely a tough lesson learned.

I write manually on my notebook, and also have a sticky note feature on my laptop to record it!

I put a reminder on my phone so I will not miss out on any important to-dos!

Are to-do lists important?

Yes, it is extremely important. If I don’t have my to-do list I’ll end up embarrassing myself because I forgot to finish my task on time. Finishing my to-do lists daily really completes my day.

On my phone’s notepad.

I check off everything as I go, and make sure all of it is done in a day!

I don’t really have a to-do list, but sticky notes on my laptop instead.

I just create a lot of sticky notes on my Windows as time goes by. Half of my laptop screen is filled with it!

I wouldn’t say its important because I always remember whatever I need to do. I only write things down when there are things I wanted to do, but didn’t have the time to. Mostly just things that are not important.

When I do write down things to remember, I just use a notebook and pen lah.
